Hello 2014 "You Night" Models!  Here is what WE are working on right now:

If you have been notified that you are a You Night 2014 model, please submit your headshot and information sheet no later than Thursday, February 6th.  The form can be found at :  MODEL INFORMATION FORM 

 

PLEASE PUT THE FOLLOWING DATES ON YOUR CALENDAR.  ALL DATES ARE MANDATORY:

 

• NEW!   Come by the Ooh La Bra offices between now and April 15th to pick up your t-shirt and bra straps for the launch party.  Please call ahead of time to reach Carol Bell to schedule and appointment.  Ooh La Bra's office is located off I-12 (the Madisonville/Goodbee exit, near "Uniforms by Bayou".  Take the road almost all the way to the back, turn left into parking lot.  Address is:  13406 Seymour Meyers Blvd, Suite 5  Covington, LA 70433.  All models need to own a strapless or convertible bra.  If you need one, visit Bra Genie in Mandeville and mention you are a You Night Model and they will give you 50% off the correct type of bra.

• NEW!   Spring Launch party, May 1st  Class of 2013 will introduce the 2014 models at a cocktail reception.  Location:  Lake Pontchartrain Basin Maritime Museum in Madisonville (near the Madisonville bridge).  Arrive by 5 p.m.  Reception is 6 - 8 p.m.  Event is limited to You Night models and corporate sponsors only.

• June 1st:  Deadline for selling your tickets to your friends and family a the discounted rate.  Each model is asked to sell 10 tickets to their friends and family members at the discounted rate of $100 per ticket prior to June 1st. Priority seating next to the runway stage will be assigned to the persons who submit their ticket sales first.  Tickets may be purchased on-line at:  LINK WILL BE ACTIVE SOON.

• Wednesday, September 3rd at Fleur de Lis Center -- VENDOR ANNOUNCEMENTS 6 - 8 p.m.

• Wednesday, September 10th at Creating U, Runway Training Session #1 6 - 8 p.m.

• Wednesday, September 17th at Creating U, Runway Training Session #2 6 - 8 p.m.

• Wednesday, September 24th at Creating U, Professional Headshots, Group Shots and Video  6 - 8 p.m.

• Wednesday, October 1st, at Creating U, Runway Session #3   6 - 8 p.m.

• Wednesday, October 8th at Fleur de Lis Center, STAGE "dress" rehearsal  6 - 8 p.m.

• Thursday, October 9th at Fleur de Lis Center, RUNWAY SHOW! :)

 

NOTE:  You will be assigned to a boutique and a salon.

FOR THE BOUTIQUES -- Please schedule an appointment to visit your boutique the week of September 24-28th to select the outfit you will be wearing the night of the runway show.  This should be a head to toe outfit (including shoes and accessories).   Your outfit needs to be brought to the Fleur de Lis Center the day before the runway show, October 8th (anytime between 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.).  All items need to be labeled with your name and the boutique's name on each item.  Those items will be brought up to the model changing room.  Please make sure your boutique gets all items back after the runway show or the next day (October 10th).

 

FOR YOUR SALON APPOINTMENT -- The salons have been asked to provide styling services to you the day of the runway show.  If your salon does not offer make-up services, please let us know so that a make-up artist can be available at the Fleur de Lis Center.  Your salon appointment should be finished by 4 p.m. on Thursday, October 9th.  Please arrive to the Fleur de Lis Center "runway ready" by 5 p.m. on Thursday, October 9th.  Food and beverages will be available in the model dressing room.  (Note:  If your salon is willing to offer a second styling appointment, you will be taking professional headshots on Wednesday, September 26th at 6 p.m. at Creating U).

 

Additional notes:

For your training sessions at Creating U, please bring bottled water, snacks if you need them and wear an outfit that you feel amazing in.  Please wear shoes with heels (no sandals, tennis shoes or flip flops).

Love on yourself!  Get healthy!  Start telling your friends and family about the event.  Make sure your out-of-town guests have this event on their calendar.   We look forward to meeting and working with each of you!
